I read this book because I thought I could learn something from it.
My Moms Wedding is about a girl,her mom,and step dad getting married .She doesn't want them to get married because she thinks she won't get along very well with her step dad and that won't make her mom happy.
during the wedding pinky feels bad for her real dad because he doesn't have anybody.
I think Eve Bunting wrote this book because she wanted to tell us that getting a new dad isn't so bad because at the first part of the book she wasn't so happy around her step dad but at the end of the book she was happy around her step dad.Because at the wedding in the book her real dad tells her ''me and your mom are just friends''.
Eve Bunting spreads the message like don't get sad because getting a new dad isn't so bad in the book.She tells me that your step dad or mom might make you happy.Pinky changed at the end of the book.Pinky learns that getting a new dad isn't so bad.
Eve Bunting uses alot of details in her pictures when I read Buntings books I see that she uses a lot of illistration.
I like to read her books because they sometimes make me feel like i'm in the story.on the last page is a reminder of all the wedding I have been too.
I liked this book because of the title. I like the title because it reminds me of my dad asking my mom to marry her but they haven't got married yet.It reminds me of more too like me being the flower girl at my grandmas wedding.

John Cabot is an important explorer from England.He explored Asia,Labordor and Canada to find the water route to China,so Itally could trade for spices ,silk,ceramics and more.John Cabot did not find his water route but he found canada.
